friday. just came back from school after watching the anklung+harmoc eclectic concert. quite good i must admit. the angklung conductor is super pro. i his way of conductor, very expressive and engaging, except the performers could have looked being more engaged rather than staring into blank space. the finale song was quite good, and its the same as the one they played in colege day last year, except without the harmoc of course. somehow i felt the odd instrument out was the harmoc, cos it didn't blend in with the natural 'village-like' sounds from the angklung, that wooden flute and the drums. it just doesn't have the woody feeling like the rest of the instuments have.
gp today was quite fun actually, cos i didn't fall asleep, and i expected myself to do so. my air con had to start squirting water at 3am in the morning, and i had to wake up and find bottles to contain the leak. ended up i was super deprived on my sleep. had difficulty dragging myself up this morning. gp was quite fun given that we had to do presentation on an essay question. and the typical me is always the one to be pushed up to the front of the class with just a transparency with crap and i had to literally crap my way through. well at least it kept me wide awake. and i cant believe that i got 8 marks for my AQ in one of the gp compre exercise. this calls for a celebration. a big one.
shucks. sudoku compy registration is over. and i just found someone who is in need of a team to join. that makes 2 people, but deadline is over le. $1000 top prize LEH!! imagine how much FOOD i can buy with that!! haha nevermind i dun think i can win top prize also. oh wells. update another time again!
